D104 in La Jolla Location, location, location! We loved waking up each morning to the sounds of the surf, sunshine and the beach right outside the back patio. The condo complex is close to shopping and restaurants. Easy driving to San Jose or southwest to other wonderful beaches. Our favorite beach walk was to to Playa Palmilla at low tide. Beautiful waters, rock formations, surfers to watch, los pelicanos flying in formation and jumping fish and rays. There is a very nice beach restaurant at the Coral Baja resort just a few minutes walk away—karaoke on Friday nights! It was so relaxing to read and sunbathe by “our” palapa right outside the unit or at poolside—just steps away. The unit had everything we needed to cook and clean up together (no dishwasher but we really didn’t miss having one). Breakfast at the bar or dinner at the table, naps on the new sectional and even Netflix at night. There is also a new washing machine which came in very handy during our stay. Drinking water was easy to get (delivered right to our door) and inexpensive. As with any place problems can arise but our hosts Michael and Karla were just great—very responsive and they worked hard to make sure our issues were addressed promptly. We had a cleaning crew come in weekly and they were simply awesome—fast and detailed and they helped us with our Spanish too. All in all we had a great time and are already planning our next trip to Cabo. Gracias! Steve and Debbie
